What we paint
Painting covers a wide range on a house, and the honest answer to what we take on is: the surfaces a handyman and maintenance company is already working on.
Inside that means the rooms, trim and built surfaces you live with every day. Outside it means the wood and siding that weather first.
Projects vary from a single room or a set of doors to a full exterior. Scope and timing are agreed before work starts, and if a project is larger than our model suits, we say so.

The repair happens before the paint
This is the part that separates painting done by a maintenance company from painting done by a paint-only crew. Paint does not fix a wall. It covers one, and every flaw underneath it comes back through.
Because drywall repair, carpentry and exterior repairs are already core services here, the problem and the paint can be handled together: a doorknob hole patched, taped, sanded and texture-matched before the wall is rolled.
Baseboard that pulled away re-secured and caulked before the trim is cut in. Soft fascia or trim cut out and replaced before the exterior gets its coat.
That also means an honest read on what a project actually needs. If a surface needs more repair than a paint job budget assumes, you hear that before work starts, not after.
Preparation is most of the job
The visible part of painting is the last step. Most of the time goes into everything before it: protecting floors and furniture, removing or masking hardware, plates and fixtures, filling nail holes, caulking gaps, sanding, cleaning surfaces, and priming where the surface calls for it.
Exterior work adds its own preparation. Loose or failed material has to come off, bare wood has to be sound and dry, and gaps and joints get sealed so water stays out of the wall rather than sitting behind fresh paint.
Colors, sheens and materials are settled during scoping. Bring the colors you have picked, or say what you are trying to achieve and we will talk it through.
Touch-ups and small painting projects
Not every painting job is a whole house. A fair share of the painting we do is small and specific, and those jobs are welcome rather than treated as an inconvenience.
Small painting work also folds naturally into a wider visit. If a room is being patched, a door is being rehung, or trim is being replaced, painting that area in the same trip is usually the efficient way to do it.

You work directly with owner Matt Houle, whose 15+ years span construction, property management, home maintenance and home improvement work.
The business is fully insured, and certificates of insurance and references are available on request. Scope, timing and what a project includes are agreed up front, and anything that turns out bigger than expected gets discussed before it changes.

Questions
Do you paint interiors, exteriors, or both?
Both. Interior work covers walls, ceilings, trim, doors and cabinets. Exterior work covers siding, soffit, fascia, shutters, exterior trim, porch ceilings and exterior wood such as decks and posts.
Will you repair the surface before painting it?
Yes, and that is the main reason to have a maintenance company paint. Drywall repair, trim and carpentry, and exterior wood repair are core services here, so damaged surfaces can be repaired, prepped and painted as one job instead of two.
Do you paint kitchen cabinets?
Yes. Cabinet painting covers doors, drawer fronts and frames, including removing and resetting hardware. Cabinet repair, hinges and hardware are handled alongside it when a door has stopped closing square.
Can you stain or varnish wood instead of painting it?
Yes. Wood staining and varnishing are part of the work, on interior trim and built-ins as well as exterior wood like decks, rails and posts.
Do you take small painting jobs and touch-ups?
Yes. A single room, a set of doors, a run of trim, or touch-ups after a repair are all normal jobs. Small painting work often gets combined with other items on your list in the same visit.
