Most visits bundle several of these together. If a faucet is being replaced anyway, it is a good time to redo the caulk line, mount the new towel bar, and clear the rest of the small items on the bathroom list in the same trip.

Showers and tubs

Shower doors, enclosures, and pans

Glass shower doors are heavy, unforgiving, and easy to get wrong. We adjust and repair existing doors, replace worn rollers and sweeps, and install custom shower enclosures when the old unit has reached the end of its run.

Below the glass, we replace bathtubs and shower pans that have cracked, flexed, or discolored past the point of cleaning. A pan that moves underfoot is not a cosmetic issue. It works the seal loose a little more every day, and the floor beneath it pays the price.

Faucets and the fixtures around them

Faucet replacement is quick work when it goes well and a soaked cabinet floor when it does not. We shut the supply down properly, set the new fixture square, and check every connection under flow before calling the job finished.

Kitchen faucets, bathroom faucets, shower heads, and the hardware that surrounds them all fall under this service. Bring the fixture you bought, or tell us what you want and we will talk through options that fit the sink and the space.

Moisture control

Caulk and seals do more work than they get credit for

Every wet area in a house relies on a few thin lines of caulk. When those lines crack or pull loose, water finds drywall, subfloor, and framing, and it does its damage quietly. We handle interior and exterior caulking both as part of fixture visits and as standalone work, cutting out the failed material rather than layering new caulk over old.

It is also one of the least expensive problems in a house to stay ahead of, which is why caulk checks belong in regular upkeep rather than on the someday list.

How a fixture visit works

  2. We confirm the scopeWe make sure the job stays at the fixture level and flag anything that belongs with a licensed plumber before work starts.
  3. The work visitOld hardware comes out, the new fixture goes in, and every edge and joint gets sealed against moisture.
  4. Water on, final checkWe run the water, check the connections, and leave the space clean.
Where our scope ends. This is fixture-level work within the handyman model. Licensed plumbing work, major plumbing changes, and supply or drain re-piping are out of scope. If your project crosses that line, we will tell you up front so you can bring in the right specialist.

Usually not. Swapping a faucet at an existing sink is fixture-level work that fits the handyman model. If a project turns out to need a licensed plumber, such as problems with the supply or drain lines behind the wall, we tell you before anything gets opened up.

Yes. Bathtub and shower-pan replacement is part of our bathroom fixture work. We pull the old unit, set the new one, and seal it correctly. If the job grows into a larger bathroom project, we scope that separately as part of our remodeling and upgrade work.

Most of the time, yes. Rollers, sweeps, hinges, and alignment wear out long before the glass does. We adjust and repair existing shower doors, and when a door is past saving we can install a new custom enclosure.

There is no fixed schedule. Caulk is due when it cracks, pulls away from the surface, or holds staining that cleaning will not remove. Once water can slip behind it, damage spreads where you cannot see it, so earlier is better than later.

Yes. Grab bar installation is a common request, and we handle the tile drilling needed to anchor bars solidly without cracking the surrounding tile.
